Alexis DelgadilloBS Candidate-University of California, DavisI care about DeepTok because It was the first resource that placed me on my path toward achieving my academic goal. Prior to DeepTok I didn't have guidance, direction or a clear vision of who I could become or what I could achieve. Since then, I have had high academic success and want to pass on the knowledge and resources that were given to me through DeepTok.
I am currently in my last year working on my B.S. degree in Cognitive Science with an emphasis in Neuroscience at UC Davis. Upon graduation, I will apply to medical school. I am the youngest of three siblings raised by Mexican immigrants. I began pursuing my career of medicine after my daughter was born. I was 20-years-old and knew I had one of two option; use my brain or my body. I now find myself less than one year from submitting my medical school application and achieving my dream. |

Dr. Jane Binger, EdDInterview, Application, & Leadership CoachI love coaching students to reach their career and leadership dreams.
Sorting mail in my Mother’s medical group and my Father’s dental practice when I was 8 was my first job. When my Father had his stroke, our family’s income stopped. Without the support of incredible mentors and coaches, I wouldn’t have graduated with my BS and Doctorate in Education from Stanford and my MS from UCSF. I am an educator and coach. I love coaching college and graduate students, particularly first-generation students, to interview well, develop powerful applications, and be effective leaders. I have coached more than 350 college and graduate students, physicians and allied health professionals, and senior managers. A few of my career highlights are serving as Chief Learning Officer at DeepTok, Senior Adviser and co-developer of the leadership seminar series for the Center of Excellence in Diversity in Medical Education at Stanford Medical School, Co-founder of the UC Merced VIP Mock Interview Program, Executive Director of physician leadership development at Lucile Packard Children’s Hospital Stanford, and Senior Research Officer, graduate medical education and research, at Sutter. Let me know how to support you! |
